Terms and conditions

Our products

The vast majority of our products are restored originals and typically unique. It is important to us that you are delighted with your purchase and we have made every effort to ensure our photographs and descriptions provide as accurate depiction as possible, but please feel free to enquire about any particular item before purchasing. All of our items will be subject to varying degrees of natural wear and tear, in keeping with the age and look of the product, and are priced accordingly. Our items are hand finished, meaning slight variations may often occur between the actual goods delivered and those appearing on our website.

We reserve the right to vary our prices, and to change the specifications of our products. We do our best to keep our website up to date at all times but occasionally an item may no longer be available. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale, even after an order has been placed. In the event an item is no longer available we will contact you to see if a suitable replacement can be found. If this is not possible we may occasionally have to cancel your order.

Security of payment and personal details

We process all payments through Streamline Worldpay or PayPal, and we only do this once your ordered items are ready for despatch. Streamline Worldpay encrypted servers ensure your card and other personal details cannot be accessed by any third party. We do not retain your card details ourselves. We do collect your personal information through the ordering process and in order to facilitate delivery. We never pass on your personal information to any third party, but may from time to time send you information about our own products and promotions. Please contact us at any time if you no longer wish to receive such updates.

Payment

All of our prices are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable). Our VAT Registration number is 101 7272 57. You can pay using most debit and credit cards. We can also accept bank transfer, please contact us for our bank details.

Delivery

We aim to despatch your order as soon as possible and usually within 3 working days. If an item is available, but currently out of stock, we will contact you to advise when to expect delivery. Where possible, for delivery addresses within the UK, our website will advise the delivery charge applicable to your order. However, given the bespoke nature of many of our products, it will often be necessary for us to contact you to advise the cost of delivery. In many cases, particularly larger items, delivery is arranged through our couriers. We will liaise with you in advance of taking your order to advise of delivery costs and to arrange a mutually convenient time for delivery.We provide dimensions on our website for larger items of furniture. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in a position to accept courier delivery at the mutually agreed time. Failure to do so may mean additional delivery and storage costs being incurred, for which you would be liable for settlement prior to follow up delivery. You are also responsible for ensuring that your premises can accept the items ordered and that such items will fit through doorways and into their intended space. Items are delivered to the main entry point of your premises and, whilst we do our best to assist, it is your responsibility to move items to the room of your choice. If you’d like your order to be delivered outside the UK mainland please contact us for a quote, prior to placing your order. Please also be aware that you may be liable for local taxes or import duties for countries outside of the UK.

Returns

Please contact us prior to placing your order if you are unsure as to the size, condition or any other aspect of the item being purchased, as we do our best to ensure that you will be fully satisfied with your order.

We will accept returns (or provide an exchange where possible) but, in any event, a refund will only be available if you contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please note that any item made to order cannot be returned. In the event that any item is returned for refund it must be in a fully saleable condition, having been returned in the same condition in which it left us, and you must pay the cost of sending goods back. Upon satisfactory receipt of any returns we will make a refund of the purchase price paid for the item, but will not refund either the cost of delivery charged by us or the cost for you to return the item. In the unlikely event of an item having being received damaged then we will arrange for collection and a full refund, provided you have notified us within 24 hours of delivery. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
